Malte Koeditz

I began my architectural education with an undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh, where I received a Master of Arts with Honours in Architectural Design (RIBA Part 1 validated) in 2011. Thereafter I continued my studies in Munich at the Technische Universität München where I successfully completed a postgraduate programme in 2013.

Although I was born in Hamburg I spent most of my life in Edinburgh where I attended school and university. In addition to many challenging design projects my degrees included courses in Architectural History, Lighting Design, Acoustic Design, Sustainability and Business Management. A selection of both design and written work can be viewed in my portfolio.

Over the past few years I have also worked for several well-known architectural practices in Scotland and Germany: gmp Architects, 7N Architects and NGP Architects. Each office gave me a different insight into the architectural profession. My experience includes several invited international design competitions as well as working on projects in the construction stage. Projects ranged from residential buildings to large cultural complexes and urban masterplans.
